The Vijayanagar Empire was one of the Largest Kingdom in South India.Vijayanagar Kingdom founded by Harihara and Bukkaraya in 1336 CE.Vijayanagar rulers constructed Temples and Forts across their region. In the following two centuries, the Vijayanagar empire dominated all of southern India. In 1565, at the Battle of Talikota, the army of Vijayanagara was defeated by an alliance of the Deccan sultanates. the ruins at Hampi capital City of Vijayanagar were designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Gandikota

Over time, the Pennar River carved the pink granite rock of Erramala Hills and formed Gandikota Canyon. What we see now is a spectacular natural formation!

Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple
Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is located in Nandi village, at the base of Nandi Hills in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state, India.
The original temple in the complex, identified as one of the oldest temples of Karnataka, dates back to the early 9th century. The earliest inscriptions are from Nolamba dynasty ruler Nolambadiraja and the Rashtrakuta emperor Govinda III dated 806 CE, and copper plates of the Bana rulers Jayateja and Dattiya of about 810 CE. The temple was later under the patronage of successive notable South Indian dynasties. the Ganga Dynasty, the Chola dynasty, the Hoysala Empire and the Vijayanagara Empire.

Someswara Temple,Kolar
Someshwara Temple is located in kolar,Karnataka Which was built during the reign of Vijayanagar Empire. The Temple having very beautiful architectural quality and sculptural elegance.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.The temple entrance has a high Gopura built of brick and mortar and the main temple has a garbhagriha and a large ardhamantapa. The Kalyanamantapa or the Vasantha Mantapa also is a beautiful architectural creation.
Belum Caves
Belum Caves in Situated in Kurnool district.Andra pradesh.These caves were formed some millions of years ago, when a constant stream of water cut through the black limestone deposits in the area. The cave system is also the second largest in the Indian subcontinent, right after Meghalaya’s Krem Liat Prah.

outside the cave, on a hillock, there’s a white 40 ft Buddha statue. Right behind that is the Belum Cave with some of the most striking stalagmite and stalactite formations that you will ever see. Belum is 150 ft deep and is an important site for Buddhists.
Lepakshi
Lepakshi is located in the District of Anantapur,Andhra pradesh.The Lepakshi Temple is famous for its three shrines, which are dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Veerabhadra.The temple was built in the Vijayanagar architectural style and has beautiful sculptures adorning the walls.The large Monolithic Nandi Carved from Granite Situated outside of the Temple.
Lepakshi has many murals from the Vijayanagar Era and the famous sculpture of the snake on the Nagalinga. Local legend claims that the 'naga' was carved from a single block of stone.
Tadipatri
Tadipatri town located on the banks of River Pennar in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh. It was ruled by Various dynasties belonging to the Chalukyas Hoysalas and Vijayanagara Empire.
