Glory of Pandyas
Pandyas was one of the Earliest Kingdom of South India.Pandya Territory Covered South Side of Tamilnadu from Madurai.They ruled from Ukkiran Kottai in Sixth Century CE. Later they ruled from Madurai.

They are Contemporary rulers of Pallavas.
Pandiyas patronized Tamil literature.Many of the kings themselves, were poets and literacy experts that wrote extensively.They contributed Well as Art and Architecture. They Created Excellent cave temples across their region.
Arittapatti Cave Temple
Arittapatti rock cut Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The simple and beautiful Temple located near
Madurai.This Rock cut Temple is a fine example of
Early Pandya Architecture.

The Shiva idol has been chiseled in the Centre of the Cave created in Natural rock.This Cave temple was
created by Pandyas in Eighth Century.

Thirumalapuram
Thirumalapuram Rock Cut is Temple situated in Sankarankoil circle,Tirunelveli District in Pandya region.This Rock cut Temple Situated hill of Thirumalapuram also called Varanasi Malai.
The Temple Dedicated to Lord Shiva.Which has the Magnificent Sculptures of Vishnu,Nataraja,Bramma and Vinayaka.This Cave Excavated
during Eighth Century.Pandya style of Sculpture and Architecture has unique features.
Sevalpatti
Sevalpatti also Situated in sankarankoil circle,Tirunelvaeli District.The Northern Side of hillock has a Cave Temple.Which was Excavated by Pandyas During the later half of Seventh Century.
The cave Temple was Dedicated to Lord Shiva.it walls has carved with Vishnu,Nataraja and Vinayaga Sculptures.
Veerasigamanai
The Small hillock located outskirts of Veerasigamani village.The Cave temple Situated Eastern side of the hillock.Lord Shiva idol created as Monolithic structure in Main Sanctum.

This Style of Architecture and Sculptures classified to Pandyas by Scholars.The cave was Excavated in Seventh Century.

YANAI MALAI
Yanai malai situated in Madurai.The hill stretches over two kilometers The hill has Jain sculptures,Vishnu Temple and Muruga Temple.The Rock cut Cave Temple Situated in this hill is dedicated to Lord Muruga.
Lord Muruga seated with his Consort Devasena in Main sanctum.
The Temple dated to Eight Century.
